Owlfly Adult - Ascaloptynx appendiculata
Kitching Creek Trail, Martin County, Florida, USA
August 23, 2006
Size: body: ~35 mm
Shot at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. This individual did not have the "split" compound eyes found in Ululodes species, and was larger. Genus ID based on images here in the guide, so please correct me if I am off...
