somewhat fuzzy semi-belted clerid - Cymatodera

somewhat fuzzy semi-belted clerid - Cymatodera
Dona Ana County, New Mexico, USA
Size: 9 - 10 mm
One of several species to come to my UV lights in this location. It resembles several other brown, belted species I collected and photographed, but differences in size, pubescence and length-width ratio make me think this is a separate species in this genus. Note the tapering-off of the punctuation toward the elytral apex.
