Cosmopepla? - Cosmopepla lintneriana - male - female

Cosmopepla? - Cosmopepla lintneriana - Male Female
Rancocas State Park, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
August 26, 2006
They were on some kind of mint.

Moved
Moved from Cosmopepla.

They look a lot like Twice-stabbed Stinkbug
I've found them on mint relatives, too. Maybe another species in the genus Cosmopepla, as they don't have the two red spots.

Thanks for the help
I noticed the Twice-stabbed Stinkbugs in the guide all had bright red spots. Could this just be individual variation?

We only have one species
and there are supposed to be seven. Surely someone's going to post a different species eventually! Though your near one does seem to have one of the red spots, just to confuse things.

Know what I just realized?
They are both missing parts of their pronota, which may explain the lost red dots!
