Spider in the corner - Mimetus puritanus - female

Spider in the corner - Mimetus puritanus - Female
Herndon, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
August 26, 2006
Size: body 5mm long
This spider is currently in the corner by the door just holding this pose. I thought it might be yet another variant of Achaearanea tepidariorum, but the hairs are bigger and less numerous. Looks like it has a lion's face on its abdomen.
