Some kind of Boxelderbug relative? - Leptoglossus clypealis

Some kind of Boxelderbug relative? - Leptoglossus clypealis
West Valley City, Salt Lake County, Utah, USA
August 23, 2006
Size: 14mm
I found this guy on my garage near a Maple tree. I'd like to know more.

Moved
Moved from Leptoglossus.

This is in the genus Leptoglossus
It has lost one side of its broad zigzagging stripe, but I'm pretty sure it's L. clypealis (below) - you can just see the edge of the pointed nose (the clypeus) next to its right antenna.
