Scenopinidae, dorsal - Scenopinus - female

Scenopinidae, dorsal - Scenopinus - Female
100 Acre Wood, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
August 25, 2012
Size: 5.5 mm
Found in the house.
I actually used Borror and DeLong (or is it Triplehorn and Johnson) to guess at this one. Their drawing of wing venation is spot on.
The little white bits all over it, which are hard to get off, are drywall sanding dust. (I don't think I will ever have all the drywall sanding dust off of everything...even if I were to try.)
