Antmimic spider - Castianeira longipalpa

Antmimic spider - Castianeira longipalpa
Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, USA

Moved from Spiders.

Zebra Spider
I don't know the common name or ID of this one (although it reminds me of a gnaphosid), but I think it should be called a Zebra Spider.

We have something similar
in Corinnidae, Ant mimic Spider - Castianeira longipalpa here

does not look anything like
does not look anything like an ant to me.

I think they get the name more for behavior than appearance.
I don't think they look extremely ant-like either, but the short, jerky steps they take combined with the waving of the front set of legs makes them look a little like ants.
