Is this ID correct?

Moved- Not Darapsa
Moved from ID Request.

This is a walnut sphinx (Amorpha juglandis).

.
What a surprise and how you can be fooled by area! I have loads of these in Camp Wood and do not know of ANY walnut trees in the area at Schulenburg.

Thanks for straightening me out.

Walnut sphinx
Despite its name; the walnut sphinx is known to feed on other trees as well: beech, hickory, alder, hazlenut among some others.
