Size: 3mm (apex to mid-stem)
Found on Ericameria nauseosa. Note exuvial remnants at apex. A total of four galls were on the stem that was isolated for rearing. .

Moved tentatively

Rhopalomyia sp.
Kerry, Your gall appears in Gagne's "Plant feeding gall midges" p. 131. It looks like Rhopalomyia chrysothamni Felt.
