Identification
Note: This species separates from juxtapositional species in Freitag (1969) by the following combination:
1) So-called "umbilicate" punctures along anterolateral border of shoulder are not surrounded by prominent elevated ridges.
2) Elytral apex strongly sinuate.
3) Prominent knob along border of last abdominal sternite. (… Peter W. Messer, 23 January, 2013)
