shield bug babies

shield bug babies
Medina County, Ohio, USA
August 29, 2006
Size: teeny tiny
can anyone ID these at such a young stage?

agree well with:
young nymphs of Elasmostethus interstinctus, but not of Elasmucha grisea (European species) - guess therfore, that these will be the former genus.
