Cicada exuvia - Diceroprocta

Cicada exuvia - Diceroprocta
Palm Beach County, Florida, USA
August 13, 2006
Size: ~17 mm
This photo was taken at the Frenchman's Forest Natural Area.

This could be either Diceroprocta viridifascia or Neocicada hieroglyphica as both species have been spotted here before.

Moved
Moved from Cicadas.

Diceroprocta
It's not Neocicada - that genus has the nymphal abdomen striped in black. This looks like a slender version of Tibicen, so I expect that your identification of this nymph with Diceroprocta (a close relative of Tibicen) is correct.
