Familiar Bluet? - Enallagma civile

Familiar Bluet? - Enallagma civile
Springfield, Virginia, USA
September 25, 2004
A very bright blue damselfly. Familiar bluet (Enallagma civile)?

Familiar Bluet
Great shot Richard. The text of Damselflies of the Northeast says they should only be sperated in ther hand from several others but I agree that it is most likely a Familiar Bluet.

Moved to guide
Lovely image, Richard, and thanks for id, Francis. I moved this to the guide.
