Sphingidae, dorsal - Paonias myops

July 17, 2009: the larva had disappeared beneath the peat. I hoped it was pupating.
This was my second attempt to rear one of these. The first try never made it to adult.
August 5, 2009: the adult emerged. I don't know why I held it 3 days before releasing it.
