Found by sifting through a sedge tussock in a frozen swamp.

Moved from Rove Beetles. These little guys like it cold! I remember there being numerous old winter records in the MCZ collection, but never managed to collect the species myself while in MA. I'm glad to know it's still hanging on!

Pycnoglypta campbelli
I was able to find a fair number of these beetles in the sedge tussocks in the wetland behind my house. If you want, I can send some specimens to you. Again, thanks for all the help.
