Very intersting shot
of this friendly little oddball. Could you tell if the wing marks have turned green or turned transparent/transluscent?

I have probaby 12 photo sessions with this fly going back to April but the wing marks are always white. I haven't seen any lately, though.

Wings
The light areas on the wings are translucent. I still see many of them in my yard, though I'm not sure if Jeanne is going to wash them all away tonight. Actually, I've seen more and more of them as summer progressed. There are probably several generations of them a year, I'm guessing.
