Heterobostrychus aequalis has no dorsal pubescence, while your specimen is obviously pubescent. Yours looks more like Amphicerus bicaudatus. Check the antennal club; the club segments in all Amphicerus have two parallel longitudinal lines incised in them. This character is very distinctive if you have enough magnification to see it.
