Torymid from Diastrophus gall - Torymus solitarius - female

Torymid from Diastrophus gall - Torymus solitarius - Female
West Forks, Somerset County, Maine, USA
Size: 3 mm
From the same gall that produced this male:

Moved
Moved from Torymidae.

Torymus
My torymid contact is fairly certain that his is Torymus solitarius. He says that species is fairly similar to Torymus fagopirum but has a propodeum that is smooth, whereas in fagopirum the propodeum has a rather heavy sculpture. In addition, the ovipositor of solitarius is about 2X the length of the abdomen but only about 1X the length in fagopirum.
