identification of moth
This small clearwing moth is Carmenta pyralidiformis based upon the location, date of photo, opaque forewing, and the appearance of just 2 yellow bands on the abdomen. The moth should have been associated with moist riparian areas where the host plant commonly called boneset grows (Eupatorium sp.).
