Callobius? - Callobius bennetti - male

Callobius? - Callobius bennetti - Male
Blackville, Northumberland County, New Brunswick, Canada
March 5, 2013
Size: 8 mm
This spider was found on a basement wall, not associated with a web, on March 4 (photo 1). I went to take more photographs on March 5 and found the molted exoskeleton on the wall, and the freshly molted spider underneath (photos 2,3,4). I love the orange highlights on the fangs!

Callobius
I think so, it looks like Callobius bennetti to me. Let's see what the others think.

C. bennetti
I agree, C. bennetti is the only Callobius listed for NB on the Canadian checklist.
