Anela*phus ? - Neaneflus brevispinus

Anela*phus ? - Neaneflus brevispinus
Organ Mountains foothills, Dona Ana County, New Mexico, USA
August 9, 2006
Size: 11.5 mm
This was the only longhorned beetle to come to my UV lights on the night of Aug. 9-10. Its elongate body and coarse, pale setae remind me of Ane*laphus.

Thank you, Michael.
Does brevispinus (short spine) refer to the elytral terminus spines or the antennal spine?

Not sure
but the apical elytral spines certainly are short (outer one basically lacking).
