Scraptiidae, False Flower Beetle, dorsal - Canifa

Scraptiidae, False Flower Beetle, dorsal - Canifa
100 Acre Wood, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
June 27, 2012
Size: 2.7 mm
Black lighting
One antenna was loose. I figured if I tried to glue it, the antenna would go with the glue rather than the glue stay on the antenna. I thought twice and then antenna stuck to the glue and was no more. Luckily the ventral photo has both antennae.
