Unknown large spider - Latrodectus hesperus

Unknown large spider - Latrodectus hesperus
Fresno, Fresno County, California, USA
February 27, 2013
Size: 1 cm
If I understand correctly, you do not measure the spider with its legs. This beast was found indoors; I've never seen a similar thing to it! Any help would be appreciated.

Someone who specializes in Latrodectus will eventually see your image here and either confirm or correct my ID.

Thank you.
It was oddly shaped but I do see quite a few Black Widows around the house. This was the largest by far; I'm guessing a female. I know very little about spiders so even this simple ID goes a ways.

Black Widow
I think this is a Black Widow (Latrodectus hesperus), it does have an unusual look to it. Be careful with it.

yep, laura is correct!
