Size: 3/4 in legspan
I know that immature females and adult males have similar markings. I don't know how to tell the difference. (I also should point out the tiny "seed ticks" that are in the picture--at least one just below the spider and 2 in the upper left.) I don't have a camera good enough to photograph those!

I'm definitely no expert. I've always had a bit of a fascination with insects, but only started photographing them after I found this site. It's my favorite pasttime now.
