Mason Wasp - Ancistrocerus adiabatus

Mason Wasp - Ancistrocerus adiabatus
Central Park, New York City, New York, USA
September 3, 2006
This has "smiley face" and seems to have a carina on 1st abdominal tergite. Maybe Ancistrocerus adiabatus?
Correction or confirmation appreciated.

Quite likely A. adiabatus...
as all decisive criteria seem to match.

Thanks Richard.
I'm just getting started on the small and medium sized Vespids. I find it difficult and appreciate your help. Charles
