Moved
Moved from Ironclad Beetles.

Bolitotherus sp. (Tenebrionidae)
.

Not Bolitotherus
Based on Arnett (American Beetles), the only Bolitotherus species of North America is B. cornutus that is really more convex like you can see here : http://bugguide.net/node/view/28491. For more, this species isn't present in Texas. The only Bolithophagini present in Texas are of the genus Rhipidandrus but I don't think that it is it.

Zopheridae
It look like a Zopheridae ; probably genus Phloeodes.

Zopheridae
species is emarginatus (Horn). Generic combination is ever changing.

phloeodes emarginatus, is that right?
So this is a phloeodes emarginatus? Nice to know after I had given up! Thanks!
