Moved from ID Request. Wolf spider, but I don't think it's a Pardosa. Is the one inch without the legs? It looks like one of the larger species to me like Hogna, Tigrosa or Geolycosa.

I don't suppose you took a ventral view?

 
No, I could have. If I find
One inch including the legs. I thought the color pattern on the cephalothorax seemed like a tiger's. If I find it again, I'll try for a ventral shot. Many thanks.
