LHBeetle - Metacmaeops vittata

LHBeetle - Metacmaeops vittata
Buncombe County, North Carolina, USA

Moved
Moved from Metacmaeops.

I'm thinking Metacmaeops
Based on the pronotal form, length of antennal segments, and overall shape/coloration, I think this is Metacmaeops vittata. Anyone else with an idea?

looks like it
sure is very similar to the other picture of Metacmaeops vittata. Brachysomida bivittata has an other pronotum and other characters (color of elytra, feet, antenna) which don´t fit this beetle.

I agree.
I agree with this identification (Metacmaeops).

Thanks for the correction
I completely missed the dark suture stripe down the elytra in this photo.

Brachy*somida bi*vittata
color very variable. Yours is the current most orange example in BugGuide (note the complete orange legs) .
