Flea Beetle - Disonycha pensylvanica

It's just that the shell markings don't really match.
They are even spaced, very crisp, and meet at the bottom.
Sorry it's not completely in focus. This is my only shot.

extreme edge of wings is pale!

According to some statements on this page, and a key to Alabama species, it cannot be glabrata, consequently. It agrees well with Disonycha species a in the guide - not safely identified yet (pennsylvanica?).

I'm thinking

the black edge makes me think Species Disonycha glabrata - Pigweed Flea Beetle but it's a tough call (for me).

Disonycha

This is a flea beetle in the genus Disonycha. Most of these have proved tough to take to species and so on BugGuide we have many of them group temporarily under "Disonycha a," and "Disonycha b" et cetera.
