This is clearly a Flame Skimm
This is clearly a Flame Skimmer. The saturation of the coloring into the basal half of the wings is diagnostic.

The perfect answer
Thanks, Cliff. I was looking for a way to tell them apart. I've recently ordered a book on CA dragon and damselflies in hopes of IDing some of them myself.
