I looks like a Common Yellowjacket but there are a couple yellow marks on the back of the thorax that I don't see in any of the Common Yellowjacket images in the Guide.

Nice photo
I think this is Yellow-haired Yellowjacket, Vespula flavopilosa, rather than Common.
