Meloidae? pyrota? nemognatha? - Nemognatha

Meloidae? pyrota? nemognatha? - Nemognatha
Orlando Wetlands, Seminole County, Florida, USA

A closeup of the two. Meloidae? pyrota? nemognatha? Nothing looks exactly the same.

Nemognatha discolor?

Nemognatha it is!
Thanks, Jeff. I had a feeling that was it, but didn't find the same picture on the page to which you refer.

Meloidae
Likely Nemognatha piazata as seen here, for which there is not currently a guide page. Nemognatha piazata is on the Florida check-list of blister beetles. At any rate, it appears to certainly belong to Nemognatha.
