Moved Tentatively...
There are four species in Washington. I eliminated the following because:

1) T. sericeus: this species should have abbreviated prosternal carinae (complete in your specimen).
2) T. chevrolati: based on the shape of the pronotum, if this is chevrolati it would be a male but lacks lateral elytral fringe of setae.
3) T. mendax: shape of pronotum not right and mendax would have smaller eyes.

Moved from False Metallic Wood-boring Beetles.

The middle leg on the venter is in the way of the metathoracic groove...LOL. If you can reposition the middle leg it should help.

 
No wonder..
You did a LOL, it was extreme hard to get the middle leg pulled up. I did it through and it will be an attached image shortly...
