Coppery Emerald
Looks like it might be a Coppery Emerald, Somatochlora georgiana. It has a narrow range, but can be found in most of Louisiana.

Note the separate eyes
Making this a clubtail, specifically Russet-tipped Clubtail (Stylurus platiatus) female. Great pics which definitely should be in the guide.
