Western Shorthorned Walkingstick? - male

Western Shorthorned Walkingstick? - Male
San Antonio area, Bexar County, Texas, USA
September 7, 2006
Size: about 2 1/2" (body only)
Here's another one for the experts. I found this one climbing the wall on the back side of the house today. I'm not sure what species it is, but I took several photos hoping someone can help me out. I've searched the guide images and the western shorthorned walkingstick looks pretty close, but I realize there are other species that are not shown.

Thanks,
GD

Diapheromera?
This is a male, and probably a species of Diapheromera. Western shorthorned walkingsticks have distinctly short, thick antennae.
