Mournful Thyris Moth – Thyris sepulchralis - Hodges #6077 - Pseudothyris sepulchralis
Caddo Lake, Harrison County, Texas, USA
April 6, 2013
Size: 1/4 to 3/8" long
At first I thought this was a butterfly. Later decided it might be a Desmia Moth. Photographs were taken April 6, 2013 on Caddo Lake, Harrison County, Texas on a Two-winged Silverbell bloom. Can anyone confirm the identification of this for me? Thanks
