Sac Spider Palp - Clubiona pallidula - male

Sac Spider Palp - Clubiona pallidula - Male
Krain, Unincorporated King County, Washington, USA
April 13, 2013
Size: BL=6mm
Ventral view of left pedipalp. Image taken through microscope eye piece with point-n-shoot camera. There really were that many colors in the palp (i.e. it's not an artifact of photo editing). The spider had molted to maturity just a few days prior, so maybe that's why it was still so colorful and somewhat translucent.
