Acanthocephala (declivis?) - Acanthocephala declivis

Acanthocephala (declivis?) - Acanthocephala declivis
Valdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia, USA
April 13, 2013
Last night, I photographed a few couples of A. terminalis, which were then identified as such on bugguide.net. I noticed other Acanthocephalas much higher, but didn't get clear shots. I checked the same tree tonight and there they were. After some serious balance games, I was able to get some decent shots of the Acanthocephala bundle. They don't look the same as the lower individuals. A bit larger, I think. Sorry, no exact measurements and I won't hazard an estimate. My assumption is A. declivis. Do they usually mate higher than A. terminalis? Thanks for your help and for your assistance.
