Looks like...
Automeris cecrops pamina, a mountain-dwelling species that feeds on mahogany, mimosa, and oak species.

Looks like
one of the stinging caterpillars in the Saturniidae, maybe Automeris or Hemileuca. Will check some online resources for Arizona to see if we can nail it down.
