L. grandis? - Lebia

L. grandis? - Lebia
Organ Mountains foothills, Doña Ana County, New Mexico, USA
August 6, 2006
Size: about 7 mm
Here is a live one, photographed on my mo*th sheet before it went into the collecting bottle. Came to UV lights on greasewood/mesquite/cactus incline beneath jagged spires of the Organ Mountains, so called due to their vertical spires like the pipes of big cathedral organ. Okay, it's a stretch, but they had to come up with something :-)

Look closely at these two photos and you'll notice the front tibial concavity and spur which L. grandis is said to have.
