Found in daytime.

Probably 2283 - Juniper Webworm Moth - Dichomeris punctidiscella
... the photo on my old website that Robin pointed to is misnumbered there and I am pretty sure it is 2288 -- Many-spotted Dichomeris Moth -- D. punctipennella [tentative]. The tiny photos for these two species in Hodges' MONA Fascicle 7.1 (1986) show brownish moths with these patterns and to my eye aren't much help. In this case I would rely on the photo below:

on Bob Patterson's page here but I couldn't find a matching image on the MPG site. If Bob sees this, maybe he can help.
