Found this Gulf Fritillary Caterpillar on my passion vine in my backyard. Will these caterpillars destroy my vine?

YES!
Little Hungry Hippos! The female lays approximately 200 eggs and they're lucky if 6 survive. I buy new passion vine every year because they wipe it out ... but they're worth it.
