Robber Fly... Parasite?

Robber Fly... Parasite?
Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, USA
taken on my slide (swing set)... note its middle left leg... is that a parasite or something?

Looks like something in Heteropogon or Cyrtopogon. Can's see the abdomen. I doubt that is a parasite. In fact, I don't know if I have seen anything on parasites of predatory flies.
