This female was scary it was so big. Found in the understory of a cove forest.

Nursery Web Spider?
The way this spider is holding its egg sac reminds me more of a nursery web spider. Spiders are measured by their body length only, so this one is probably around one inch long. I found a similar one, that also struck me as a HUGE spider, and it turned out to be Pisaurina mira.
