Neocicada hieroglyphica (f. johannis)
A common cicada in parts of the Southeast. Florida populations usu. have less black pigmentation and belong to the taxon N. hieroglyphica johannis.

Anole's waiting in ambush
I see this all the time in tree's where hieroglyphica cicada's are calling, Anole lizards sneeking up on calling males in tree's. I've ran a few off when they got to close.
