Imperial Moth Caterpillar - Eacles imperialis
Upshur County, West Virginia, USA
I'm posting this one, taken in late July several years ago, as a companion to the reddish Imperial Moth caterpillar I posted yesterday. By the final instar, the formerly fierce horns are now short nubbins.
