Saddlebag - Tramea carolina - Female
Connecticut, USA
Credit for pic is my brother, Ron's. As far as I can tell, this may be a female or juvy Carolina Saddlebags. Could someone confirm or ID? Red Saddlebag is not near us, according to map.

Carolina
This is what we think of as carolina, lots of black on the tip of the abdomen, and no transparent patch near the body on the back wing, but.... See discussion here (1)

Carolina
Thanks, John and Jane. I have the "Dragonflies Through Binoculars" and I studied this site's fieldguide plus other on-liners. The missing clear notch is probably the best fieldmark. Dave P.
