Erebidae: Grammia? - Apantesis virguncula

Erebidae: Grammia? - Apantesis virguncula
Turtle River State Park, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, USA
May 24, 2013
Size: Length ~ 3 cm
Hmmm...my best guess is that this specimen may belong to the genus Grammia. I've collected four species of adult Grammia in the area (2012), so if this specimen is Grammia it will likely be one of these four local species (G. phyllira, G. virgo, G. parthenice, and G. viruncula). I reckon I'll have to rear this specimen to find out! ;-)
