Common moth - Euxoa - male

Common moth - Euxoa - Male
Richards Rd, near Prosser, Benton County, Washington, USA
August 23, 2006
On the day I collected this moth, its species comprised around 75% of the moths attracted to our lighted windows (probably about 100 individual moths or so). Most of them appeared to be newly emerged, and all were fairly uniform in scale coloration.
