Parcoblatta bolliana? - Parcoblatta bolliana - male

Parcoblatta bolliana? - Parcoblatta bolliana - Male
North Carolina, USA
May 27, 2013
This male was small. The orange ones beside it I think are P. virginica. I have not seen a picture of a male P. bolliana. Is this a P. bolliana? The orange roach is probably about 21mm long. They were probably caught in Granville county. Parcoblatta are delicate so I am scared to hold it in my fingers so I did not measure it. I could not measure it because it would not stay still.

In Granville County
I found an adult male that looks like this (what I think it P. bolliana) in Granville County today.

Probably not P. virginica
I do not think that orange one is P. virginica. I think it is P. uhleriana. I thought these were Ischnoptera deropeltiformis when they were nymphs. I do not know if the ones that had some brown on them while they were nymphs were P. uhleriana or something else. These what I think are P. uhleriana are less skittish and slower than the three smaller adult males that I think are P. virginica (I think all of these came from a rotting piece of wood and I think none came from leaves). I found some more of these (what I think are P. uhleriana) in leaves today. The ones that I think are P. virginica are similar in size as this, what I think is P. bolliana in the picture.
